Police have arrested and jointly charged Bastian Dember, 29 years old fisherman of Union Island and Andris Jordan, 30 years old fisherman of Fitz Hughes with the offences of possession of a control drug and drug trafficking respectively on 23.05.2020.
According to investigations, the accused men had in their possession 18, 160 grammes of cannabis with intent to supply it to another and for the purpose of drug trafficking. The incident occurred at Bequia on 22.05.2020.
Both men are expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court to answer the charges.
