Police have arrested and charged Oranson Garraway, 21 years old Labourer of Layou with assault and three (3) counts of robbery on 19.06.2020.
According to investigations, the accused man allegedly assaulted an 18 years old student by pointing a gun at him with the intent to commit the offence of wounding on 17.06.2020. He was also accused of allegedly robbing a 23 year old tradesman of Campden Park of $100.00ECC in cash and one (1) Samsung Galaxy S6 cellular phone on 02.05.2020, a 32 years old Carpenter also of Campden Park of one (1) blue and black cellular phone on 02.05.2020 and a 21 years old store clerk of Richland Park of one (1) black Samsung Galaxy S10 cellular phone on 10.06.2020. The accused allegedly used a gun in the commission of the offences. All of the incidents occurred at Layou
Garraway appeared before the Serious Offences Court to answer the charges and pleaded guilty to the offence of assault. He was sentence to eight (8) months in prison. All other matters were adjourned to 07.09.2020.
