Port workers gathered to witness the arrival of the larger of the duo, the Symphony of the Sea, which docked after 7 a.m. to transfer 300 crew members to its junior, the Harmony of the Seas – the world’s longest – already berthed at the port.

Symphony of the Seas, an Oasis-class cruise ship, is owned and operated by Royal Caribbean International. Built in 2018 in France, it is the fourth in Royal Caribbean’s Oasis class. It can hold 5,518 passengers at double occupancy, and 6,680 passengers maximum.

Harmony of the Seas, also built in France and owned by Royal Caribbean, surpasses her older sisters Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas.
