    OBJECTIVES:

The managed conduct of mass gatherings with amplified music will be a collaborative effort involving the RSVGPF supported by the Health Services Subcommittee Core Team. The stringent measures of this protocol recognize the increased risk of the spread of SARS-CoV-2 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines due to the increased arrival of travelers from countries with many cases of  COVID-19 and the reduced quarantine requirements in SVG.

The lifting of the ban is political on the part of the ULP to facilitate them holding music based election rallies. It will of course put a large number of people at risk from COVID 19 because whatever protocols are put in place Vincentians are lawless regarding such rules. They will gather and totally ignore all the rules.
