    Police have arrested and charged Nku Foster, 54yrs Security Guard of Green Hill on 06/08/2020 with the offence of Wounding.
    According investigation, the defendant allegedly unlawfully and maliciously wound an 18-year-old Vendor of Fountain by stabbing him on his back with a scissors. The incident occurred at Kingstown about 5:30 on 04.08.2020.
    Foster appeared before the Serious Offences Court and pleaded not guilty. He was granted bail in the sum of $1500.00 with one (1) surety. The matter was adjourned to 21/09/2020 and transferred to the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court.

    Police have arrested and charged Lindon Franklyn, 35 years old labourer of Largo Height with the offence of Wounding on 06.08.2020.

    Investigations carried out revealed that the defendant allegedly unlawfully and maliciously wound a 31-year-old unemployed of Largo Height by striking him on his head with a cutlass. The incident occurred at Largo Height at 10:17 pm on 06.06.2020.

    The accused appeared before the Serious Offences Court and pleaded not guilty. The matter was adjourned to 22/09/2020 and transferred to the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court. He is presently on station bail.

    Police have arrested and charged David Poyer, 40 years old Stevedore of Sion Hill/Lowmans Hill with possession of an unlawful Firearm and ammunition on 06.08.2020.

    According to investigation, the accused allegedly had in his possession one (1) .25 semi-automatic pistol and two (2) rounds of .25mm ammunition without a license issued under the Firearm Act. The incident occurred at Campden Park on 05.08.2020.

    Poyer appeared before the Serious Offences Court and pleaded not guilty. He was granted bail in the sum of $11,000.00 with one (1) surety and ordered to report to the Central Police Station on Mondays and Wednesdays between 6am and 6pm. The matter was adjourned to 28/09/2020 and transferred to the Kingstown Magistrate’s Court.
