The Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment wishes to advise the general public that as part of the its mosquito control programme for the adult Aedes aegypti mosquito, the Insect Vector Control Unit will be conducting fogging operation at schools in the following locations commencing at 5:00 pm daily:
Monday, 24th August 2020 – Fitz Hughes to Lowmans Leeward Anglican School
Tuesday, 25th August 2020 – Kingstown
Wednesday, 26th August 2020 – Arygle to Belair & Marriaqua
Thursday, 27th August 2020 – Fancy to Colonaire
Please take note of the following:
Principals are kindly asked to make the necessary arrangement to open the windows and doors of the schools to allow the fog to take effect.
Parents, guardians and school officials are advised that children are not to run behind the vehicle during fogging operations.
Motorists are kindly asked to take caution.
Persons who are suffering from any respiratory illnesses are kindly asked to take the necessary precautionary measures.
