On 21.02.2021 police have arrested and charged Elizabeth Charles, 34 years old Unemployed of Calder with Controlled Drugs.
According to investigations, the accused was allegedly met in possession of nine hundred and fifty-four (954) grammes of cannabis with the intent to supply it to another at Layou on 20.02.2021.
Charles appeared before the Serious Offences Court on 22.02.2021 and plead guilty to the charge. She was fined EC$930.00 of which EC$300.00 was to be paid forthwith or one (1) month in prison.
The balance owed to the court was ordered to be paid by 08.04.2021 or three (3) months in prison on default.
