Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Thursday 11th March, 2021 – In keeping with his
mandate to deliver quality workshops to affiliates of the SVGFF, President Carl Dickson along with the Finance committee chaired by 1st Vice President, Otashie Spring takes this
opportunity to inform our stakeholders of the commencement of the much anticipated “Financial Reporting Workshop” which was announced at our last congress
session in November 2020.
This inaugural effort will inform clubs and leagues in areas such as: Financial record keeping, Budgeting, Cash flow management and other areas of financial substance, which will realize the overall viability of the entities involved.
The sessions will take place over a two-week period commencing Tuesday 16th March 2021,
culminating on Saturday 27th March 2021. Affiliates will be divided into six groups, with amaximum of ten members per group.
Affiliates were asked to send representativesin their capacity of Accountant/Treasurer/Finance
Person and President of the Club as stated on the Club License documents.
Finance Expert Cerlian Russell and Accountant Otashie Spring will be facilitating the workshops.
