June 02, 2021, Kingstown- The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF), Traffic Department commends the citizens of St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) who have been complying with the COVID-19 protocols that have been implemented by the Government of SVG to combat and contain the spread of the coronavirus.

The Traffic Department has noted that while the vast majority of persons have been complying with the Covid-19 protocols stipulated by the authorities, there are those who chose not to. In light of this, the Traffic Department wishes to notify members of the general public that the protocols as stipulated by the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment are still in effect.

To this end, the Traffic Department strongly encourages all citizens, including omnibus drivers, conductors and passengers to adhere to the Covid-19 protocols to reduce the spread of the coronavirus. In addition, officer from the Traffic Department will be strategically placed on our public roads to ensure that these guidelines are adhered to. Failure to comply with these protocols would result in persons being prosecuted by the law.
