    Windwards Female U19 hosts USA in SVG

    Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines – Windward Islands Female Under 19 will host USA female Under 19 for 4 T20 matches. The tour is scheduled in St. Vincent and the Grenadines from January 24 – 28, 2022.

    The historic tour represents the first USA Under 19 female team to tour the West Indies. It is also the first opportunity for the Windward Islands Under 19 females to come together as a unit since the pandemic. Both teams will be using the tour for development and exposure.

    Windwards’ Coach, Cleton Burnett, is quite upbeat about the series. “As a squad, we welcome the opportunity for some competitive cricket. The young ladies are pretty enthusiastic and geared up for the tour. Much credit to the Windwards Board and USA Cricket for this massive investment in female cricket,” said Coach Burnett.

    The tournament is made possible by the collaborative efforts of the Windward Islands Cricket Board, USA Cricket, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines Cricket Association.

    USA Female Under 19: Geetika Kodali (captain), Laasya Priya Mullapudi (VC), Chetna Reddy Pagydyala, Yashaaditi Teki, Bhumika Devi Bhadriraju, Trisha Bhima, Anika Singh Kumar, Jivana Lee Aras, Disha Dhingra, Ritu Priya Singh, Sai Tanmayi Eyyunni, Snigdha Paul, Pooja Ganesh, Tya Gonsalves, Mitali Patwardhan, Asif Mujtaba (Coach), Nadia Gruny (Manager)
