    Vincentian shot and killed in the BVI

    A man who was fatally shot dead this evening, June 21, 2022, in Road Town has been identified as Corey Butler.

    Butler is reportedly a national of St Vincent and the Grenadines.

    According to police, the shooting took place close to Flemming Street. Our newsroom can also confirm that the fatal shooting took place in the area behind Riteway Food Market.

    “Police are confirming the fatal wounding of a male following a shooting incident in the area of Flemming Street this evening,” the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) stated this evening.

    It said the victim was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital.
