Three Vincentians excelled at Monroe College and graduated with the highest honors just over a year ago. With the completion of her Master’s Degree in Business Management with a focus on International Business, Vincentian Kendra Homer has once again dominated in her field. The elated Vincentian is set to cross the stage in October, with Summa Cum Laude Honors and a 4.0 Cumulative GPA said she is ecstatic about this accomplishment. She is honored to be the lone Vincentian, dominating in this degree for the year 2022.

    What’s Next?

“I am not sure. The road was difficult and long, and I am mentally exhausted. One thing for certain is that I might begin my Ph.D.”. Kendra, who has political aspirations as well, said that she might make that her next move, only time will tell. Kendra is currently a Lecturer at the SVGCC.

What is your encouragement to others?

Pursue with leaping faith. Utilize and seize all available possibilities. Nothing worthwhile comes easily, and learning is not simple. One thing we must be aware of as young adults is how competitive the world is getting. Therefore, to the race, we must be proactive. Anyone who knows me well is well aware of the difficulties I have faced over the past three years.

I am appreciative that I received a government tuition scholarship. To achieve my goals of dominating as a female and a Vincentian, I wanted to ensure that I stood in full representation of those ambitions. Today, I am reaping that reward. Kendra wishes to thank God, her immediate family, friends, and colleagues for their never-ending support.
