On November 16th 2022 The St. Vincent Brewery Limited uncapped the newest addition to their product portfolio “Guinness Smooth”. Brewed and bottled at our plant in Campden Park, Guinness Smooth is the perfect balance of bold flavors exuding strength and smoothness with a rich, delicious and satisfying experience.
Guinness Smooth has all the characteristics of Guinness with an extra smooth finish. A Chocolatey and sweet flavor for the perfect balance of bitter and sweet.
Country Manager, Shafia London spoke passionately about the diversification of products from the St. Vincent Brewery Limited to adapt and fit various demographics in our ever-changing financial climate.
She stated that as a company we continue to grow and evolve, as we continue to meet the demands of our consumers and our consumers have been asking for more, so for the first time in over 50 years Guinness as a brand has reinvented a new product. Mrs. London-Williams went on to acknowledge that as Vincentians we do love Guinness, so at the same time whilst we want to preserve the original flavor and boldness of Guinness we at the Brewery have also taken note that there’s a new category of drinkers who have emerged, and there’s a new category of consumers who are looking for something more, they want the boldness but with a little more charisma and so we have developed a product that
fits that desire, a product that appeals to both male and females, and age groups over the legal drinking age of 18. Guinness Smooth can be described as a well-balanced sophistication that is also affordable.
Colin Huskinson, Plant manager at the Brewery assures that in the production of Guinness Smooth the finest quality ingredients were used from the malt, to the hops, to the water. Mr. Huskinson also stated that the production time is shorter because the fermentation period for the Guinness smooth is shorter.
Lamont Medica, Commercial manager promised a strong brand presence and that the same level of excitement to be derived from our bold and innovative activations in the marketplace can be expected when marketing the Guinness Smooth brand.
The product will be available from the St. Vincent Brewery Limited as of November 17th 2022 and in all major supermarkets by November 18th and the entire island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines in shops and bars by November 25th 2022. The Guinness smooth is expected to be sold at $79.80 per case from our sales trucks and tele-sales department and retail at $5.00 per bottle.
