A family who was involved in a motor vehicle accident on March 14, 2023, National Heroes Day would like to thank the residents of Troumaca, and persons who were in the vicinity of Maxine’s shop who quickly came to their assistance soon after the Toyota Noah overturned.

The family was on their way to the Dark View Falls to celebrate the holiday when the minivan experienced a brake failure. The driver, Mr Frankie Mofford, decided that it was best to run the van into a nearby bank to avoid collision with another motor vehicle a few meters ahead. The minivan ended up on its right side as a result. This decision may have also saved the family their lives, as the minivan was just about to approach another deep terrain.

    Only minor injuries were sustained.
