The Kingdom of Morocco will be donating 160 tonnes of fertilizer to St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

This was disclosed on Friday by Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves who was at the time acting agriculture minister.
While speaking on WEFM, he said that the shipment of fertilizer is expected to arrive in SVG very soon.

“We got an email yesterday that the Morocco agency for international cooperation which acts on behalf of the kingdom of morocco, pursuant to the agreements which we have had, they’re donating a shipment of fertilizer, 160 tonnes, they would arrive sometime pretty soon, hopefully they will be here on May 2nd,” he said.

The Prime Minister said that the Ministry of Agriculture is already making the necessary preparations for the upcoming shipment as it is a significant quantity.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines established diplomatic relations with the Kingdom of Morocco on August 10th 1988.
