    Secondary Schools Road Relay Set For Thursday

    The first event of the NLA Inter Secondary Schools Athletics Championship (ISSAC) for be contested on Thursday, September 14, with the staging of the Road Relay, along the Windward Highway.

    The six legged race will begin at 1 pm in Peruvian Vale, and end outside the Administrative Center at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex.

    The first leg starts at the bus shed in Peruvian Vale and goes to the AIA junction in Argyle. From there, the 2nd leg goes to the bridge in Stubbs, 3rd leg to Pit Master in Diamond, 4th leg to Big John’s Campari Shop in Prospect, 5th leg to the SVG Community College turn-off , with the 6th and final leg going to the Arnos Vale Sports Complex.

    Points based on the top 8 places will be awarded to schools for the 2024 Athletics championships.

    The Barrouallie Secondary School are the reigning Girls Champions, with the Georgetown Secondary seeking to defend the Boys title.
