    The 2023 Inter Primary Schools Football kicks off Tuesday

    The 2023 Inter Primary Schools Football competition, commenced on Tuesday afternoon. Defending champions, the Paget Farm Government school got going on a good footing, after beating the Kingstown Government School 5-0. Runner up for the most goals in last year’s tournament, KJ Ollivierre found the net 4 times, with Craydon Adams scoring once.

    On the Leeward side, Questelles and Troumaca Government Schools played to a 3-3 draw. Dijon Lewis scored twice and Jaheem Joseph scored once. Troumaca’s goals came from Dorian Louie, Theon Laborde and Adam Quashie.

    Barrouallie Government beat Chateaubelair Methodist 3-2, with Barrouallie’s goals coming from Christiano Derrick, Jerome Howe and Curt Ceasar, with McClane Edwards and Joshua Williams scoring for Chateaubelair Methodist.
    Meanwhile, in North Windward, Lowmans Windward Anglican beat Diamond Government 4-1, Georgetown Government drew 2-all with Langley Park Government had a 2-0 win over Biabou Methodist.

    In Secondary Schools Netball, The Emmanuelle High School Mesopotamia trounced the Buccament Bay Secondary 43-7 in the senior division. The Thomas Saunders Secondary juniors lost heavily to West St. George Secondary 46-2, but the TSSS seniors outmatched the Bequia 7th Day Adventist 20-5.
    Georgetown Secondary dominated the George Stephens Senior Secondary in both divisions, with the Gladiators winning 24-5 in the juniors, and 29-5 in the seniors.
