    Taxi man robbed at Gunpoint

    Police are conducting an investigation into the robbery of a taxi driver by two gunmen at about 5 am on Saturday, 16th, March 2024. According to reports, the taxi driver, who had just dropped off a client and was traveling through the Fairhall/Glen area when a stone was thrown into the road, the driver stopped, and a man armed with a gun appeared and placed it at the driver’s head.

    It has been reported that the driver was deprived of his mobile phone valued at $700, over 500 in cash, and a phone charger valued at $150  during the unfortunate event. The matter has been reported to the Calliaqua Police Station, which has initiated an investigation into the matter. We hope for a swift resolution of this incident.
