On 30.04.24 police arrested and charged Tasheca Bacchus, 26 years old , self-employed of Arnos Vale with nine (9) counts of Deception.
Investigations revealed that the defendant dishonestly obtained a total of one thousand, five hundred and eighty dollars from nine (9) different female complainants between Park Hill and Union Island with the intention of permanently depriving them of same. The incidents occurred mostly between January 2024 and March 2024 except for one that took place on the 27th April 2023.
The defendant appeared before the Kingstown Magistrate Court on the 2nd April 2024 and pleaded guilty to all charges. She was remanded for two (2) days and will return to the Kingstown Magistrate Court for sentencing today, April 4th, 2024.
