Five years ago, Blessing Amar started on a journey offering one body enhancement product and it was business was referred to as ‘Green Coffee Bean Extract’.
And five years later, the company now operates under a new name – ‘Fit n Bless’ and now boasts over 20 products ranging from weight loss/weight enhancement to body enhancement items.
The company turned 5 on June 19.
“Which means that we have had 5 years of helping, not just Vincentians but primarily Vincentians get their body goals,” Amar, the Creative Director of Fit n Bless told ANN.
“No matter what the goal is, there is a solution for you,” she added.
Fit n Bless offers effective and safe items for weight loss, weight gain body and sexual enhancement and deals with the overall general wellness of the body.
Most of the products originate from the African continent, Nigeria to be more specific.
“And we know that Africa is the home of herbs; all our products are made with natural ingredients, and they are purely organic,” she added.
And after 5 years, according to Amar, they can boldly say that they have not had anyone come forward to say that they have experienced any side effects from the products on sale.
Amar explained that when the business first opened, a lot of customers looking for products for weight loss.
But after a few months, other customers came in and started looking for other products to enhance other areas of their body and health.
“We tailored our products to what the customers wanted,” she told ANN.
So, the customers indicate what they want, a poll is conducted and then whatever products that does not survive gets scrapped she said.
Technically, the line of products offered at Fit n Bless is geared towards the ladies.
But according to the Creative Director of the business, there are products for men.
Initially, Amar said that the men were shying away from the business, but they are now coming in and indicating what areas of their health and body they want to enhance.
In terms of challenges, Amar said that with having to get the products from as far as Nigeria, it has often been difficult to get items here quickly.
There were a lot of delays and depleted stocks because of the delays.
But the situation has improved over the past 5 years, Amar said adding that they now had better shipping options and they were now working with the right people to serve the needs of their clients better.
In terms of the future, Amar said that they would be looking to maybe increase their line of products.
“I say maybe because we are still trying to make sure that people get the most of what we have.”
“We are not just looking to add products for the fun of it but add products because we are sure that these products work,” she said.
Amar explained the process of releasing a new product saying that she and members of her team would have a trial and then they conduct proper research before approval is given.
“So, before we launch any new product, we focus in on excellence.”
Amar thanked the Vincentian public however for trusting and supporting the company throughout the past five years.
“It is not easy accepting a foreigner running a business in your country,” she told ANN.
She said that she and her team looked forward to continue serving the public in the coming years because all that she has accomplished would not be possible without her patrons.
