Kingstown, St. Vincent and the Grenadines – The Ministry of Health, Wellness, and the Environment has announced its mosquito control fogging schedule for the upcoming week. The Insect Vector Control Unit will be conducting operations in various areas from Monday, July 15th to Thursday, July 18th, starting at 5:30 PM each day.

    The schedule is as follows:

    • Monday, July 15th: Redemption Sharpes
    • Tuesday, July 16th: Green Hill and Largo Height
    • Wednesday, July 17th: Vermont
    • Thursday, July 18th: Evesham and Richland Park

Residents in these areas are advised to keep their windows and doors open during fogging to ensure the effectiveness of the treatment. Motorists are urged to drive cautiously during these times.

Those with respiratory conditions are advised to take appropriate precautions. The Ministry also encourages all residents to eliminate mosquito breeding sites in their yards and to protect themselves from mosquito bites throughout the day.

The Ministry notes that the completion of these activities may be subject to unforeseen circumstances. If disruptions occur, the Insect Vector Control Unit will reschedule the fogging operations for the affected communities at the earliest opportunity.
