The ISPY organization, led by the visionary entrepreneur and philanthropist Allington “Gumption” Creque, is extending its impactful outreach to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, bringing hope and support to the island’s youth. After the tremendous success of their back-to-school initiative in the British Virgin Islands, where nearly 8,000 notebooks and backpacks were distributed, Gumption is partnering with the Janice Lyttle Foundation and Lyttle Feet to continue this mission.

In the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, this initiative will distribute over 100 backpacks, 300 notebooks, and 150 pairs of shoes to students in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The collaboration highlights the shared goal of “Empowering our future by starting today,” providing essential tools for education and symbolizing a step toward brighter opportunities.

Mr. Creque’s commitment to the Caribbean community was earlier demonstrated through his donation of six high-powered generators to the island following the hurricane. Now, ISPY is joining forces with the Lyttle family’s organizations, helmed by Vincentian artist Kevin Lyttle and Dr. Jackie James-Lyttle, to continue making a difference.

The event, bolstered by the generous support of Inter Caribbean Airlines, will take place this weekend, with the airline covering the transportation of both the backpacks and Mr. Creque himself. This initiative serves as a powerful reminder of how communities can come together to uplift and empower future generations.
