The Ministry of Agriculture’s Livestock Division has received two new small ruminant pens at the Rabacca Livestock Breeding & Multiplication Centre, funded through the Volcanic Eruption Emergency Project (VEEP). The EC$944,107.92 project was completed by AP Construction and officially handed over on September 2, 2024. The pens are expected to improve the accommodation and care of animals, including those recently imported through the UBEC CERC Food Insecurity Project. This initiative, implemented by the Economic Planning Division, marks a significant step towards bolstering agricultural development in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
