The Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) will host its annual Prize Giving Ceremony on Wednesday, September 18th, 2024, at Victoria Park, beginning at 5:00 pm. The event will include addresses from Hon. Carlos James, Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Sustainable Development, and Culture, as well as CDC officials and sponsors.
During the ceremony, trophies and prize monies will be distributed to the winners of the 2024 Carnival competitions, including:
Calypso Monarch: Raeon “Madzart” Primus
Soca Monarch: Delroy ” Fireman ” Hooper
Band of the Year: Blondie Birds and Friends
Steel Pan Champion: Henessy Starlift Steel Orchestra
All members of the Carnival components and stakeholders are cordially invited to attend this celebratory event.
