This coming weekend, the constituencies of East and West St. George will come alive with Carnival activities.

The St. Georges Carnival Committee is excited about this year’s product designed under the theme “For the love of Carnival”.

Secretary of the organizing committee, Shaunelle McKenzie, says that the calendar features five main events from Thursday 23rd to Sunday 26th May: a night mas, queen show, j’ouvert, street party and kiddies fun day.

The organizing committee says that patrons of St. Georges Carnival can expect high quality events this weekend and expects the number of carnival lovers participating in the activities to increase.
