October 1, 2024 – Flow British Virgin Islands is proud to announce the appointment of Maria De Grads as its new General Manager, effective today. This historic appointment marks the first time in the company’s 58-year history in the Territory that a woman will lead the organization.

Maria, a native of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, brings over 21 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, having begun her career with C&W Communications in 2004 at Flow St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Throughout her tenure, she has held several senior positions, including Commercial Lead for the Southern Caribbean markets (St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Dominica, Grenada, and Barbados), where she successfully led growth and acquisition strategies. She also served as Commercial Manager for St. Vincent and the Grenadines and has an extensive background in customer care and human resources management.

Maria expressed her gratitude for the opportunity, stating, “I am honored to step into the role of General Manager of Flow British Virgin Islands, and being the first woman to hold this position in our 58-year history makes it even more meaningful. I look forward to working with our talented team as we continue to deliver innovative services, enhance the customer experience, and contribute to the growth of the BVI community.”

Flow congratulates Maria on this outstanding achievement and is confident that her leadership will bring great value to the BVI market as we move forward in our mission to connect communities and empower our customers.
