In response to the devastating fire
in Georgetown on October 23, 2024, which tragically claimed the lives of two young children, District
Stairs SVG Ltd., led by CEO Marlon Bute, has extended some support to the affected family.
During a recent visit to the survivors, Marlon announced that District Stairs SVG Ltd. will provide luxury
vinyl planks, bathroom tiles and tools, free of charge, for the reconstruction of the family.
In addition, Marlon also provided one of the affected residents, Maureen, who lost all her crochet
materials, tablet and cellphone in the fire, with threads, needles, scissors, and other necessary supplies
to resume her crochet work and a new tablet and cellphone.
The family expressed profound gratitude for the support received.
Marlon remarked, “It was incredibly fulfilling to see the smiles on their faces. We’re honoured to support
them as they rebuild and recover from this heartbreaking tragedy.”
