February 24, 2025 – Kingstown: The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) has made significant breakthroughs in multiple homicide investigations, reaffirming its commitment to justice and public safety.
On February 24, 2025, Lemar Isaacs, a 23-year-old labourer from Mc Kies Hill, was arrested and charged with the murder of Mark Williams, a 31-year-old vendor from New Montrose. Isaacs is accused of causing Williams’ death by gunshot with malice aforethought at Block 2000 on September 9, 2023.
The RSVGPF also confirms that Isaacs is “currently in custody on another murder charge” and is awaiting the disposal of a separate charge in connection with the June 16, 2024, shooting death of Zeno Lee, also known as Sarge. Lee, a 33-year-old businessman, was allegedly shot and killed in his home community of Murray’s Village on June 16, 2024.
Isaacs appeared before Chief Magistrate Colin John on February 24, 2025, for arraignment regarding the Mark Williams case. He was not required to enter a plea at that time and has been remanded into custody pending further proceedings.
The RSVGPF extends its gratitude to members of the public who have provided valuable information in this and other investigations. Public cooperation remains crucial in the fight against crime, and the police continue to urge anyone with relevant details to come forward. All information will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
