Cricket Association award scholarship to five students

As schools reopened today for the 2019/20 academic year, the cricket Association awarded scholarships to 5 student athletes from various schools across St. Vincent!The five students were selected based on their performance not only on the cricket field but also in the classroom.The students awarded were: Dexter Baynes of Park Hill,Jadon Henry of Belair, Chandel Creese of Enhams, Schey-Ann Gaymes of Chateaubelair and Jevon Richardson of OwiaWe would like to commend all students on their prowess both on and off the field, and urge them to continue to strike a balance between sports and academics.We would also like to acknowledge the strong presence of parents and thank them for the very important roles they play in the overall development of the next generation of athletes and scholars!
