    SVG records 24th Homicide

    Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 58 year old Pole Yard resident Arnotte Hope.

    Reports reaching ANN indicates that on Friday night, around 9pm, Hope, a Water Taxi Operator was shot twice in his groin area by some unknown person(s) while on the block in Pole Yard.

    He was transported to the MCMH where he remained warded until this morning when he succumbed to the injuries.

    This brings the number of murders for the year 2019 as 20 and the Homicide count to 24.
