    Suspect in custody assisting police with Murder

    Police are investigating two reports of Homicides which occurred on 26.10.18.
    (i) Dead is Rodesha Bailey, 30yrs old Domestic of Mesopotamia, whose body was discovered about 3:50am in Sayers, Mesopotamia with multiply stabbed wounds.
    (ii) Also dead is Gregory Morris, a 56yrs old Labourer of Byrea.
    According to investigations, Mr. Morris sustained multiple chop wounds about his body. The incident occurred on the road leading to Manning Village, Byrea.
    A suspect is in custody assisting the Police with their investigations.

    These two deaths bring the homicide count for 2018 to 28.

    Police are soliciting the assistance of members of the public who has 8information that will assist in these investigations to contact the ACP in-charge Crimes at 1784-456-1339, Officer in charge of South Central Division at 1784-458-4200 or officer in charge C.I.D at 1784-456-1810.
