At around 7 am, Sunday morning, the charred body of 61 year old Veral James was found at his home in Stubbs.

The body was said to be found by a villager.  Superintendent Kenneth John, who lives in the area was then called to the scene. James’ body was found badly burned with two pieces of concrete blocks placed on his upper body, one on his head and the other placed on his arm. An empty gas bottle was also left close to the victim’s leg.

James was described as being a friendly and quiet person and only would be mischievous if he became intoxicated.

This brings to count a total of 32 murders for the year.
