    Police investigating report of attempted Arson

    Police are investigating a report of attempted Arson and Burglary, which occurred at Redemption Sharpes, between 7:00pm and 7:30pm on 08.12.2018.

    According to preliminary investigations, (i) some unknown person(s) allegedly entered the dwelling house of a 60 years old Businesswoman of Greenhill, who with the intention to commit the offence of Arson, did an act which was more than merely preparatory to the commission of the offence, by setting a blue mattress and a quantity of clothing on fire. (ii) The unknown persons also entered the property of the virtual complainant and stole a quantity cash.

    Police investigations are ongoing.
