    Former Mustique Company worker charged with theft

    Police have arrested and jointly charged Curlene Fraser, 38-year-old Manager of South Rivers and Raphika Burnette, 40 years old Senior Clerk of Yambou with Theft on the 18th Of March 2019 .

    The accused persons allegedly stole the sum of EC$35,438.41 from the Mustique Company Limited between the period 16th.April 2017 and 12th March, 2018 at Upper Middle Street, Kingstown.

    Fraser and Burnette appeared before the family court on Monday 18th where they pleaded not Guilty to the charges

    Fraser is being represented by Lawyer Grant Connell while Burnette is being reparented by Kay Bacchus – Baptiste . Fraser was arrested in Gerogetown after pleading not guilty to a traffic offense at Georgetown court . She was was questioned and charged then taken to the family court on the said date . They were both granted bail and is to return to Kingsotwn Magristrate Court on April 5th 2019 .

    Sources told ANN that more charges are expected to be laid against Fraser and Burnett .
