    St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) to host RSS Council of Minister’s Meeting

    Chairman of the Regional Security System (RSS) Council of Ministers, Dr. the Honourable Ralph Gonsalves, Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines will welcome his regional counterparts from Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis and St. Lucia at the annual Council of Minister’s Meeting.

    The meeting will convene at the Beachcombers Hotel on Friday April 5, 2019 commencing at 9:30am with an official opening ceremony. Remarks will be delivered by representatives from the Embassy of the United States in Barbados, the European Union, and the Regional Security System.

    The featured address will be delivered by Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, Dr. Hon. Ralph Gonsalves.

    Several critical regional security issues are listed for discussions along with the signing of two (2) Memorandums of Understanding at the meeting.

    As a prelude to the Council of Minister’s meeting, the Regional Security System Security Chief’s which comprises of Commissioners of Police and Heads of the Defence Forces in the RSS Member States will convene their annual meeting at the same venue under the chairmanship of Mr. Colin John, Commissioner of Police of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
