PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT
Mr. Alexander John Clarke Horne, former Minister of Government and former Member of Parliament for West Kingstown, who passed away on Monday, 22nd April, 2019, will be accorded an Official Funeral on Friday, 3rd May, 2019.
Official viewing of the body will be held on Friday, 3rd May, 2019, at the House of Assembly from 10:00 am to 12:45 pm. Officials will be invited to the viewing from 10:00 am to 10:30 am, and the general public from 10:30 am to 12:45 pm.
The funeral service is scheduled to take place on Friday, 3rd May, 2019, at the St. George’s Cathedral, Kingstown, commencing at 3:00pm. This will be preceded by open tributes from 1:30pm. Interment will be in the church yard.
As a mark of respect, all flags throughout the State will be flown at half mast on Friday,3rd May, 2019.
Please be advised that the family has requested that there should be no taking of photographs of the body during the official viewing period.
