The National Qualifications Department (NQD) in the Ministry of Education and the Sector Skills Development Agency (SSDA) will be staging a mini exhibition this Thursday in celebration of World Youth Skills Day (WYSD).

The exhibition has been designed under the 2019 WYSD theme: “Learning to learn for life and work” and will raise awareness about the importance of youth skills development. Persons between the ages of 17 and 45 years desirous of acquiring a skill are encouraged to attend the showcase to learn more about opportunities. Application forms and displays for a number of skills programmes will be available.

The exhibition will take place on Thursday July 18 at the car park in the vicinity of the old Treasury building from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

Monday July 15 was observed as World Youth Skills Day 2019; however, the international community continues to emphasize the importance of the day well beyond the date.
