    BREAKING – NDP to hold Convention and Rally

    ANN was reliably informed that The New Democratic Party will host its Convention rally at the Arnos Vale sporting complex, on Sunday 29th Septemper  2019 .

    The rally will be the second phase of the NDP’s 41st Annual Convention, as the first phase, “the Conference of Delegates” would be held at the NDP Headquarters in Kingstown on Sunday 22nd September and would hear  address on internal party issues, reports from members of the Executive and election of officers.


    The Convention rally will be a public celebration of the NDP,will also  feature  local crafts  and  addresses from the President Dr. Godwin Friday and Candidates.

    It is rumored that Sitting Prime Minister of Caricom  is expected to  be the Keynote  speaker at the Rally .

    However, when ANN contacted the PRO Lavern King ” she stated that such information cannot be confirmed at the moment” .


    The NDP is seeking to win the upcoming general elections that are constitutionally due by December  2020.
