Low level instability resulted in a few scattered showers across the northern portion of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines this afternoon. Tonight, mostly fair to partly cloudy skies are anticipated with the likelihood of a few showers as the night progress.

A tropical wave will be approaching the islands, and will generate scattered showers with a moderate chance of isolated thunderstorms Sunday into early Monday morning. After which, the ridge of high pressure will become the dominant feature. Mostly fair and slightly hazy conditions are likely from Monday afternoon into Tuesday.

By Tuesday afternoon, another tropical wave will be approaching the islands.

Easterly winds (15km/h-20km/h) will be experienced tonight, becoming east north-easterly tomorrow ahead of the tropical wave.

Wind speeds are forecast to increase to approximately 31km/h around Monday evening associated with the building of the high pressure system. Sea conditions are slight to moderate in open water (1.0m- 1.5m), becoming 2.0m on the east coast around Monday evening.

There will be slight haze intrusion around Monday afternoon, with possible removal by Tuesday morning.
