    Georgetown man charged with wounding

    Police have arrested and charged Ziroy Joseph, 36 years old Labourer of Chilli Village, Georgetown with Wounding on 14.10.19.

    According to investigations, the accused allegedly wounded a 34-year-old Labourer of Spring Village, Georgetown by chopping him in the head with a cutlass.

    The incident occurred on 12.10.19 at Georgetown.

    Joseph appeared before the Magistrate Court on 15.10.19 and was remanded at Her Majesty’s Prison pending the health of the complainant who is currently a patient at the Intensive Care Unit within the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.

    The matter was transferred to the Serious Offences Court for arraignment.
