St Kitts- Acting Director, Currency Management Department at the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB), Rosbert Humphrey, says residents should use their one and two-cent coins before June 30, 2020, after which it will have no value.

He advised that they can be taken to your commercial bank and receive face value or they can be spent at businesses.

“They are still legal tender up until the 30th of June 2020. The general public can still spend them, businesses can still accept them, the banks are still encouraged to take them from the general public and businesses and redeem them to central bank” Humphrey explains.
