    FIRST COVID-19 RELATED DEATH RECORDED IN BARBADOS.

    Barbados has recorded its first COVID-19 related death.

    This was revealed by Health Minister Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic a few moments ago during a press conference.

    The deceased is an 81 year old Barbadian man who travelled to the UK, and returned to the island on March 22nd.

    The deceased and his 83 year old wife tested positive yesterday.

    He declined rapidly and subsequently passed from COVID-19 related pneumonia and complications from diabetes.
