    Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the post of Deputy Director of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Community College.
    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
    Applicants should have:
    A Master’s degree or higher and extensive relevant experience;
    Strong administrative skills and organisational ability;
    Good knowledge of administrative procedures, including within an institution of higher learning;
    A minimum of five (5) years in a senior administrative position;
    Strong computer skills
    Knowledge of the online and distance learning environment
    Experience in planning and development;
    Experience in budgeting
    Outstanding team building skills

    Duties and Responsibilities
    The Deputy Director of the Community College will be responsible for the following:
    to monitor the quality of teaching and learning experiences and environment provided by the College;
    to oversee distance or online education programmes;
    to oversee the continuing education programmes;
    to monitor, oversee or coordinate the programmes facilitated by Partners of the College;
    to oversee quality assurance procedures for curriculum, instruction and assessment practices;
    to lead the accreditation process for the College and its programmes;
    handling student affairs in relation to code of conduct and general student welfare;
    to develop leadership among the student body;
    to have oversight of student services;
    to plan and implement activities to promote the College locally, regionally and internationally;
    to conduct the appraisal of the Deans, Vice Deans, Registrar, Bursar and Head Librarian;
    to liaise with the Human Resources Department on the appraisal of the Faculty and other staff; and
    any other duties assigned to the Deputy Director as agreed by mutual agreement with the Director.

    Personal Characteristics
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    Ability to work independently and in a team in the physical and virtual environments
    Good problem solving skills; and
    Good time management skills
