In light of the fact that my name is now being mentioned frequently in the local media, I wish to state that I plan to contest the Marriaqua seat for the NDP again, once chosen as the candidate.

In the last two elections, as the candidate for the NDP, the number of votes for the NDP in the Marriaqua Constituency showed a consistent increase of approximately 30% over the previous candidate. If the claims of election riggings are true, the Marriaqua seat would definitely have been won by the NDP.

I am prepared to work even harder this coming election to hear the needs of the people and show how the NDP will bring a better standard of living to all. We will work to implement systems and processes to improve the economy of SvG and to provide jobs for the unemployed and better jobs for others.

I know how to do this. I have the educational background and experience to ensure that the Marriaqua community is developed to its full potential. The discipline I gained in obtaining a postgraduate degree, my leadership ability, my network with relevant expertise and my skills in implementing successful projects makes me the ideal person to lead Marriaqua into a new age of prosperity.

I actually get things done. Not only did I study Pharmacy and Public Health, I have worked in the Health Sector throughout SVG from Union Island to Chateaubelair to Fancy for 25 years understanding the problems and solutions of our Vincentian community. I am particularly familiar with the community of Marriaqua where I live and worked as a pharmacist for many years. I have hands-on skills to bring to reality, solid, workable projects. For example, the setting up and running of my own pharmacy. I can transfer these skills to setting up other successful feasible projects in Marriaqua.

The people of Marriaqua have learnt about my abilities and know of my values to stand up for good morals, decent family life and fairness. I promise to listen to my constituents, advocate strongly for their rights and any progressive ideas and will try my utmost best to ensure that good decisions are made by the NDP for the upliftment of the people of Marriaqua.

The only thing you have done is to use the money to build a bigger house…You did not even give a little change to all the people who walk alongside you to campaign…Not you again
