The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Teachers’ Union (SVGTU) congratulates all students in St.
Vincent and the Grenadines who have been successful in the 2020 Caribbean Primary Exit
Assessment (CPEA). We highly commend and applaud the commitment of our teachers for the
pivotal role that they have again demonstrated in the success of our nation’s children given the
difficult and challenged circumstances posed by COVID-19 under which our teachers and
    principals had to work.
We specifically wish to congratulate the Kingstown Preparatory School, St. Mary’s Roman
Catholic School and the Windsor Primary School for their outstanding performances.
We also congratulate the parents and guardians of those students who have done exceptionally
    well.
The SVGTU is calling on the Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to provide
incentives to those teachers who have gone beyond the call of duty given the challenges of
    CODID-19.
The SVGTU extend best wishes to all teachers, principals, students, parents and the Ministry of
Education as we work together for the continued education of our nation’s students.
