    Sion Hill Resident Charged With Three (3) Counts Of Theft

    Police have arrested and charged Peter Dasouza, 53 years Labourer of Sion Hill with three (3) counts of theft.

    Investigations revealed that on three (3) separated occasions, 24th, 25th and 28.08.2020, the accused entered Gibson Building Supplies and allegedly stole one chrome kitchen lock value seventy-seven dollars and twenty-five cents ($77.25), three (3) Bib tops valued eighty-five dollars and eighty cents ($85.80),one (1) chrome entrance lock value fifty-eight dollars and twenty cents ($58.20) and three (3) saw blades value eighty-fourdollars and sixty cents ($84.60). Total value, three hundred and five dollars and eighty-five cents ($305.85).

    Dasouza appeared at the Serious Offences Court to answer to the charge and pleaded guilty. He sentenced to five (5) months on each count. The sentences will run concurrently.
