On 14.11.2020, Police arrested and charged Matthias Harry, 25 years old Labourer of Redemption Sharpes with possession of an illegal firearm and ammunition.
According to investigations, Harry was met in possession of one (1) .32 revolver and six (6) rounds of .32 ammunition without a license issued under the Firearms Act.
The accused appeared before the Serious Offences Court on 16.11.2020 and plead not guilty to the charges.
He was granted composite bail in the sum of $12,000 with one surety. He was also ordered to surrender all travel documents and report to the Central Police Station between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. every Monday. The matter was adjourned to 07.01.2021 for trial.
