
St. Vincent and the Grenadines recorded four (4) new positive cases from samples collected between Thursday 18 to Saturday March 20. Two (2) positives are for
travelers who arrived with negative PCR tests and tested positive during quarantine screening.
Two (2) of these four (4) new positive cases were from seventy-three (73)
samples received and processed on Saturday, March 20, 2021, resulting in a positivity rate of 2.7%.
Two (2) recoveries were reported bringing the number of total recoveries to fifteen hundred and twenty-three (1523). One hundred and sixty-eight (168) cases remain
active and nine (9) persons with COVID-19 have died. One thousand, seven hundred (1700) cases of COVID-19 have been reported in St. Vincent and the Grenadines
since March 2020.
The public is urged to consistently use properly fitting masks, sanitize, physically distance and get vaccinated to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
