    Vincy heat off to Guatemala for world cup qualifiers

    The Men’s football team “Vincy Heat” has been in Grenada since May 17th 2021 preparing for the upcoming Concacaf Group C Qualifiers inthe FIFA World Cup 2022.
    The trip to Guatemala was made today, Wednesday 02nd June with One Caribbean Airlines and there they will compete in their third match against Guatemala on Friday 4th June 2021.


    The nineteen players were selected for the game are:
    Goalkeepers – Jadiel Chance, Garwin Davis and Josh Stowe.
    Defenders – Camol Bess, Kennijah Joseph, Tristan Marshall, Ted Roberts, Jahvin
    Sutherland and Jamal Yorke.
    Midfielders – Gidson Francis, Brad Richards, Nazir Mc Burnette, Kurtlan Williams and
    Diel Spring.
    Strikers – Kyle Edwards, Zidane Sam, Marlon Simmons, Cornelius Stewart and Oryan
    Velox.
    The delegation is being led by manager Renson Haynes with the head coach being
    Kendale Mercury.
    Vincy Heat will play their home match against Cuba on Tuesday 8th June 2021 at the
    Kirrani James Athletics Stadium. Kick off time is at 4:00 pm.
    The remaining players who did not travel with the delegation to Guatemala still have
    hopes of making the match day squad for the Cuba game.
    Information and links to view the game will be shared on the SVGFF social media
    platforms closer to match days.
