    Rotary Club of St. Vincent to hold Virtual Panel Discussion

    “Creating Opportunities: Empowering women and girls”.

    The Rotary Club of St. Vincent invites you to join with us in celebrating our 50th Anniversary, as we host a Virtual Panel discussion on the topic, “Creating Opportunities: Empowering Women and Girls”, on Thursday August 5, 2021, 7-9 pm.
    The members of our panel are, DG Sonya Alleyne, District Governor for Rotary District 7030, Dr. Jozelle Miller, Health Psychologist, Dr. Franké Joseph, President of Rotaract Club of Kingstown/Medical Doctor, and our Moderator Rotarian Dawnette Constance.
    The focus for Rotary year 2021-2022 includes the fight against childhood obesity and the empowerment of girls and women.
    To celebrate the week of events, the Rotary Club of St. Vincent will be joined by special guests from Rotary District 7030, namely District Governor Sonya Alleyne from Barbados, Immediate Past District Governor Lisle Chase and his Partner in Service Maggitha Jaghanath from St. Lucia, and Past District Governor and Rotary International Board Member David Edwards, also from Barbados.
    The 50th Anniversary celebrations under the Theme: Rotary 50th: Celebrating 50 Golden Years of Service Above Self, will continue throughout the year and will incorporate service projects in support of the fight against childhood obesity and COVID-19, the empowerment of girls and women, and peace building.
